Being a vegetarian myself, for just over 7 years, I’ve decided to take the final leap into Veganism.

In my opinion, the human mind has grown toxic due to a profoundly sick society, run on maintaining comfort; ignorant to the fact that suffering, often in large quantities, exist outside of the human race. I live for a day when Vegan 101 is a mandatory course taught in grade school. If we continue to raise children in a society that lacks something as simple as genuine compassion, if the fundamental core of life in general is neglected, how will the ‘world at large’ ever gain any sense of peace and unity during this short time in our existence?

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently reside in Indianapolis, IN. Rarely staying in one place for more than a year, I have had the opportunity to live in various cities across the US including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Orange County and Los Angeles.

In addition to my passion for vegan cooking, I also create recycled art with ‘junk’ from local flea markets and thrift stores. I have a huge stash of 19th century cabinet photos, vintage sheet music and old books. For those interested, you can view my latest collage creations on my website Altered Ephemera.
